Back from the sick bed

Whew! That one wiped me out. Last night I slept for 11 hours... I have so much more energy today. This is the messenger bag I finished last week. I usually do some kind of embellishment but this fabric was so pretty on its own, I couldn't think of an embellishment that wouldn't detract from its beauty. The small bag was made for the same customer... you can just see the brown glass beads on the bottom. Here is a picture of the cat that is not my cat but who is sitting on my chair in my dining room in front of the fabric I am using for my next bag. The cat is not a stray either... he lives across the street when he isn't visiting here. His name is Sammy. He is very sweet and very whacky!
